Like them, you could live forever in denial or you could continue assuming that things would suddenly work out for you just because good things happen to good people... but this is only a presumption unfortunately. A cause can bring you to more than one effect. Just because you work from 9 to 5, it doesn't mean that you will reach success, but it may mean that you will be able to pay some of your bills. Is this all that you want? The law of cause- effect is just a presupposition you built your beliefs on. To achieve excellence you need much more than hard work.
If you base your whole strategy for success on a complex equivalence assumption, I am sorry to tell you that this won't necessary work either. Just because you reached a goal in the past it doesn't mean that now you can achieve it again! Your presumption is that once you've done something, it can be repeated in 2019, but, you see, this time assumption may not be a certainty.
The truth is that if your strategy to achieve goals is based only on presuppositions, you may be able to reach success without even recognise that you did it. How would you be aware that your desires are fulfilled if you don't know what your wishes/ goals were and what was the route you followed to get there? I would challenge you to be true to yourself, know your weaknesses and your strengths, set up that fabulous goal that may change your life forever and strategise. Truism is always better than ambiguity, don't you think?

You are not the only one in this situation. Many people create a reality formed of parts of conflicting desires. It is all good as long as you don't persist in this incongruence that would generate even more internal conflicts. So, before you go even further in planning your development and evolvement for this year, take a moment and decide for yourself if you want 100% to succeed. If your answer is "Yes, but...", there is work to be done. Is there any part of you that is disputing this? Do you want to achieve your goal but part of you is saying that you like the old way and doesn't want to put up with hard work and change? There may be a part of you that believes that something is stopping you reaching success and this is just normal. Again, it is not you; it is just a part of your personality that would like things the way they were last year.... or a year before! Unfortunately this is not possible anymore because success wasn't reached in any of those years!
Well, these parts that find excuses and block your development are just minor personalities you created. They are also your own processes of internal conflicts that can be reintegrated any time and what a better moment than now? To overcome that, you have to first admit that there may be a part of you that is not prepared for success or cannot handle it properly. Then, you have to identify which is that part that is not ready for change and why this may happen. It may just be an experience from the past, a feeling or just procrastination or fear of change.... or of success itself. Once things are in the open, the chances for reaching any goals are very high. There may be work to be involved, but remember that change is nothing else than a temporary process!
